What is the difference between dry & wet cupping?
Dry cupping pulls the skin into the cup without any incisions or blood withdrawal.
In Wet/Hijama cupping the skin is lacerated so that blood is drawn into the cup.

Is cupping painful?
NO. Superficial incisions on the skin create slight discomfort but no pain.
Can the patient utilise their own set of cupping instruments?
Yes, provided that the patient sterilises the instruments after each session. The practitioner will refuse usage of the patients own instruments if not sterilised according to hygiene standards. BLADES CANNOT BE RE-USED
How long is a cupping session?
Sessions are unique to each individual as different treatments or ailments require a unique number of cups. Sessions can last from a minimum of 15 minutes to a maximum of 60 minutes.

Does wet cupping leave scars?
Cupping causes temporary scarring and skin discoloration, this will decrease and fully disappear once the blood stagnation resolves. However if you suffer from keloid then you need to Advise your practioner before a Wet Cupping Session.
How long do the scarring mark’s take to go away?
This depends on everyone’s unique internal skin healing capability. Discoloration and scar healing can take anything between 5 days and 2 weeks to fully go away.
Is wet cupping more beneficial than dry cupping?
Both forms of cupping are beneficial, however wet cupping removes blood, thus removing toxic blood and detoxification.
How many treatments are required before I see results?
For general detoxification, one (1) treatment every four (4) months is advisable.
When treating specific ailments, depending on the ailment and its severity, a minimum of three (3) treatments is advisable.
Results in many instances are seen after the first treatment.
